Deleting an account is only possible if no receipts have been settled via this account yet.
If you have uploaded receipts via the account, which have also been settled, the account must not be deleted for tax reasons. Invoiced receipts must be stored for 8 years according to the German Fiscal Code (AO) ( Abgabenordnung (AO) - § 147 Ordnungsvorschriften für die Aufbewahrung von Unterlagen ). The storage of this data is permitted under GDPR Art 6. paragraph 1 lit c. However, you can of course have the account deactivated by your employer. Please contact your HR department for this purpose.
