What is "package (tax maximum)"?
For receipts that are very long and have 15 items or more, the system sets the "Flat value (tax maximum)". All items of the receipt are summarized in this flat value. The condition for setting the flat value is that the eligible items contained in the receipt must be at least the amount of the currently valid tax maximum. This is adjusted annually (as of 2024: 11,36 EUR). If this is not the case, each individual item is read out as usual.
