What is "lump sum (tax maximum)?
For receipts that are very long and have 15 positions or more, the system sets the "lump sum (tax maximum)". All positions of the document are summarized.
The condition for setting the lump sum is that the attributable positions contained on the document result at least the amount of the currently applicable tax maximum. This is adjusted annually (as of 2025: 11,90€). If this is not given, every single position is read out as usual.
