The "Deutschland-Ticket" is issued exclusively digitally. That means you can get it on a smart card or as a mobile ticket for your smartphone. Which output medium is offered depends on the respective provider.

Provider DSW21 (Dortmunder Stadtwerke)

With DSW21 provider you can order the "Deutschland-Ticket" as a mobile ticket or smart card.

Smart Card

The smart card will be sent by post. When checking, you must show them.

Mobile ticket

The mobile ticket is provided in the DSW21 app or mobile ticket app.
Alert
It is absolutely necessary to install one of the apps on your smartphone to view the mobile ticket.
