How does the billing of monthly and annual tickets work?

How does the billing of monthly and annual tickets work?

Monthly tickets

A monthly ticket valid from 26/01 to 25/02 will be credited proportionately for January and February. It is not necessary to upload the ticket again in March.

Example:
Validity of the monthly ticket: 26/01 to 25/02
Ticket cost: 93,00 Euro (corresponds to 3.00 Euro per valid day)
>> You get billed 6 days for January, i.e. 18,00 Euro and 25 days for February, i.e. 75,00 Euro

Annual tickets

It's the same with annual tickets. Upload your ticket once and it will automatically count for the next 12 months. It is not necessary to upload the ticket every month.

Subscription Tickets

Proof for subscription tickets are often very different for different transport companies. However, you must always upload proof/a receipt in order to be reimbursed for public transport subsidies.  Some examples:
  1. Deutsche Bahn provides a permanent invoice, which contains a new entry of the debit made every month. Please upload this permanent invoice monthly with the new entry.
  2. Some transport associations clearly show that it is the debit of a subscription ticket for a certain period. You can also upload this direct debit as proof.
  3. Usually, you will receive a confirmation of the subscription at the beginning of the subscription. On this, the start time of validity and the monthly amount is often visible. However, this is not sufficient as permanent proof, as it must be proven that the subscription still existed in the corresponding month. If therefore from the debit entry the validity period is not apparent, then please upload the debit entry and the subscription confirmation in one photo.
The following information must be available from the proof / receipt for a term ticket (e.g. weekly, monthly, annual pass / subscription ticket):
  1. Transport network / ticket issuer
  2. Validity period of the ticket
  3. Price of the ticket
