A receipt of mine is unusable. Why? What do I have to do now?

Why was a receipt rejected?


When you click on the receipt in the receipt list, you will see a message in a pink box at the top stating why the receipt is unusable. This can be, among others, the following reasons:

Public transport subsidy 
  1. Not a valid receipt: e.g. debit card receipts, handwritten receipts, other photos if several receipts are photographed.
  2. Country not supported: The issuer is not in Germany
  3. Month already closed: The receipt date is from the previous month or even older. Only receipts up to the 3rd of the following month can be uploaded.
  4. Receipt bad/not recognizable: The receipt cannot be read because the photo quality is too poor.
  5. Receipt poor/not recognizable (font too small)
  6. The receipt has been submitted several times (possibly by other users): Either you have already uploaded the receipt or it was uploaded by another employee. billyard checks all submitted receipts for duplicates and discards them.
  7. Not a valid receipt: Long-distance (e.g. IC/ICE).
Food subsidy
  1. Not a valid receipt: e.g. debit card receipts, handwritten receipts, other photos if several receipts are photographed.

  7. Positions do not add up to a meal
